We're here! My family and I arrived in Michigan last night during those hours when the sane members of society are deep within their REM cycles. Derek and I got some sleep in the car, but when you get kneed in the mouth by an unconscious 7 year old three times in one hour, it tends to interfere with any plans for serious rest.
I'm so happy to be here. My grandma's home is gorgeous, and watching Nik's face light up every time he discovers something new about the house that I've known for ages.
We went to Meijer and I got for $18 an amount of make-up that would have cost approx $30 had it not been on sale and HERE.
It's time for dinner. Roast, potatoes, broccoli with cheese....Yum. And after dinner, my mom and I are popping some cookies in the oven.
